Kindergarten-4th Grade
At Arcadia Christian Academy, our Kindergarten through 4th Grade program provides students with a strong academic and spiritual foundation through the trusted Abeka curriculum. Designed to challenge young learners while nurturing a love for Christ, our classrooms combine rigorous academics with daily Biblical instruction and character development.
Students receive a comprehensive education that emphasizes strong reading and phonics skills, advanced spelling and vocabulary development, mastery of foundational math concepts, science, social studies, and Bible. We believe in teaching students not just what to think, but how to think by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and meaningful classroom discussions.
A hallmark of our elementary program is the emphasis on traditional cursive handwriting, helping students develop fine motor skills, discipline, and confidence in written communication. Through consistent practice, students learn the value of excellence, attention to detail, and personal responsibility.
Every subject is taught from a Biblical worldview, allowing students to see God's truth woven throughout every lesson. Our teachers intentionally integrate Scripture, Christian values, and opportunities for spiritual growth into the school day, helping students build both academic excellence and Christlike character.
At ACA, our goal is to equip every child with the knowledge, skills, and Biblical foundation they need to become lifelong learners, compassionate leaders, and faithful followers of Christ.
Specials: Developing the Whole Child
At Arcadia Christian Academy, we believe that education extends far beyond the traditional classroom. Our Specials Program provides students with enriching experiences in Physical Education, Art, and Music, helping develop the whole child—academically, physically, creatively, socially, and spiritually.
Our Physical Education program encourages students to build strength, coordination, teamwork, perseverance, and healthy lifelong habits. Through structured activities and skill development, students improve gross motor skills, physical fitness, confidence, and sportsmanship while learning to honor God through discipline, integrity, and respect for others.
Our Art program inspires creativity while strengthening fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, visual perception, and critical thinking. Students explore a variety of artistic techniques and mediums while discovering that creativity is a gift from our Creator. Every project encourages imagination, excellence, and an appreciation for the beauty and order found in God's creation.
Through our Music program, students develop rhythm, vocal skills, listening abilities, and musical appreciation while strengthening memory, concentration, language development, and overall brain function. Music also provides opportunities for worship, self-expression, collaboration, and confidence as students use their talents to glorify God.
Research consistently demonstrates that participation in the arts and physical education supports cognitive development, academic achievement, emotional well-being, and healthy brain development. At ACA, these programs are intentionally woven into our educational experience because we believe God created every child with unique gifts and talents to be cultivated.
